CBS News denies an Orlando Sentinel report that it sent flowers to George Zimmerman's family, Media Bistro's TV Newser reported.

The Orlando Sentinel's July 16 article reported outright that "CBS News sent Zimmerman's parents a bouquet of flowers," and that Zimmerman said "they've got some nerve" in a jail phone call with his sister.

A CBS News spokesperson is quoted as telling TV Newser: “CBS News did not send flowers to George Zimmerman’s family.”
