An Illinois woman, Sharon Bialek, is suing CBS Chicago and its anchor Bill Kurtis for his 2011 comments on WLS radio about her claims of sexual harassment by  Herman Cain, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

In early November 2011, Bialek was "the fourth woman who has accused Cain of sexually inappropriate behavior in the late 1990s and the first to go public with her charges." Cain's campaign called "all allegations of harassment...completely false."

The Sun-Times explained:

"Bialek’s suit said Kurtis’ 'knowingly false' and 'malicious' comments smeared her reputation, hindered her job search and forced her to seek medical treatment for physical and emotional distress. Bialek did not say which comments were defamatory."

According to a November 2011 report by Media Bistro's TV Spy,  Kurtis said during a WLS program that same month that Bialek "has a history" and "there's a lot more to this story."  He added that

“I ride in the elevator at work and I hear very quickly a different kind of story.”

TV Spy has audio of the comments. iMediaEthics has written to Kurtis seeking comment and will update with any response.
