The BBC apologized to a government council for its report later determined to be biased, reported.

The February BBC segment reported on Basildon council’s “Dale Farm evictions” and suggested ” that the council had failed in its statutory obligations to house or help relocate the travellers facing eviction,” according to the BBC Trust, which considered the council’s complaint.
