Blogger Carlos Graterol of the Campaign Fix blog admitted recently that he was posing as New York Times columnist Paul Krugman on new social networking site Google Plus, POLITICO reported.

Graterol’s comments as Krugman were reported by sites like Hot Air, the National Review, and the Washington Examiner, according to POLITICO.  According to Graterol’s comments to Slate, “no one checked” to confirm that the comments came from Krugman.

The account has since been removed.
