The UK Daily Star apologized for its Dec. 16 cover article about model and TV personality Katie Price and boxer Amir Khan.  The story made “a suggestion that immediately after Amir Khan’s successful WBA world champion fight against Marcos Maidana in Las Vegas on 11th December 2010, Amir Kahn was joined by Katie Price for dinner and subsequently in his suite.”

However, the Star’s correction states that the two never met in Las Vegas and that Khan “has never, as alleged, sent indecent photographs of himself to Katie Price.”

The Star apologized to Amir Khan, but interestingly did not apologize to Price.
