Fox Nation unpublished Ann Coulter’s April 10 column because she suggested killing Meghan McCain, John McCain’s daughter, the Associated Press reported.  Coulter’s article read:

“MSNBC’s Martin Bashir suggested that Republican senators need to have a member of their families killed for them to support the Democrats’ gun proposals. (Let’s start with Meghan McCain!)”

In an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Coulter defended the comment as a “joke,” according to the Huffington Post.  “I think the exclamation point made it clear,” Coulter commented.

Her article is still published on her own website.  A link to her article on Fox Nation’s website goes to an error page.

McCain responded on Twitter to Coulter’s comment, commenting that “Joking about me being killed really isn’t funny or appropriate.”  She added:
