Malaysia and Indonesia’s journalism organizations have announced plans for joint journalism ethics codes — the two countries’ journalism groups said that they plan to work together and share a code of ethics, Malaysian National News Agency Bernama reported.

The two journalism groups signed a “statement of cooperation” in which they agree to focus on having more “cooperation between the media of the two countries.”  Also, the two organizations will publish an ethics code for both countries.
