The Maldives Media Council called for “responsible journalism” and journalism ethics, Maldives newspaper Haveeru reported.
According to Haveeru, the council said in a statement:
“We urge news agencies, reporters and media sources to conduct responsible journalism in accordance with the rules and regulations and in line with the ethics of journalism in sharing information.”
