Venezuelan media outlets were banned from reporting on a recent murder, the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas reported.
According to the Knight Center, the ban was made by the Council for the Protection of Children and Adolescents of Venezuela. One newspaper, Ultimas Noticias, even took down its previous reports about the murder and posted a note saying “We apologize to our faithful readers,” according to the Knight Center.
