MSNBC’s Chuck Todd apologized Dec. 14 after making an obscene gesture on air, Mediaite reported.

On Dec. 14’s Morning Joe program, Todd raised his middle finger to the camera.  According to Mediaite and Newsbusters, it appeared Todd didn’t know the camera was live.

In an apology tweet, Todd indicated the gesture “was a joke with someone on the other side” of the camera.
