A recent report from CNN’s “eight-week series about storytelling and reporting skillsiReport Boot Camp,  focused on fact checking and sourcing.

Beyond advising journalists “always be skeptical,” the iReport tip sheet reminded journalists not to source information from Wikipedia (as a Toronto Star intern recently learned).

CNN also provided the acronym FOG for sourcing: “Firsthand sourcing, organizations, government sources.”
