James Murdoch resigned from his positions on the boards of two UK publishing groups, News Group Newspapers Limited and Times Newspapers Limited, the UK Telegraph reported.

According to the Telegraph, “The move means that no member of the Murdoch family now sits on the boards of parent company News International’s (NI) flagship UK papers.”

Despite the board resignations, Murdoch is still chairman of News International, the UK element of News Corp., the Telegraph noted.
