Australian online newsletter editor, Mal Davies, must pay $100,000 to Australian anti-animal cruelty charity after New South Wales Supreme Court judge found the newsletter’s March 19 article on the RSPCA libelous, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, “The defamatory [comments] included that RSPCA NSW was a cruel organisation in that it executed healthy cows for no reason” and killed a farmer’s cows “in an inhumane way.”
