Israel’s Broadcasting Authority was “accused of censoring personal opinions” after calling for radio host Anat Davidov to axe short weekly segment allowing “three or four speakers” to offer “opinions on current events,” Haaretz.com reported.
According to Haaretz.com, Journalists Association in Jerusalem chairman Danny Aken said the Broadcasting Authority’s order “runs contrary to pluralism and the expression of a variety of opinions, which Reshet Bet – as a public media medium – is committed to.”
