Malaysia 370 is like ABC’s Lost? Omaha’s KETV apologizes for comparison

Omaha ABC-affiliate KETV apologized for its insensitivity in comparing the missing Malaysia Airlines flight 370 to ABC series Lost, Entertainment Weekly reported.

The station said, “We apologize for the post. We recognize it was inappropriate and had it removed.”

In a separate statement to The Hollywood Reporter, the station said, “While it was not intended to be insensitive, we can see how it would be viewed that way in light of such a tragedy.”

In a tweet, KETV had written, “What do YOU think happened to #Flight370? Read the latest theories here” with a link to a KETV story.  Deadspin published an image of the tweet, before it was deleted. See below.
