MSNBC anchor denies saying n-word in Kobe Bryant death report

MSNBC anchor Alison Morris denied using the n-word in reporting on the death of Kobe Bryant.

In a Jan. 26 tweet, Morris said she “stuttered” and combined Knicks and Lakers for “Nakers.”

“Please know I did not & would NEVER use a racist term,” she added.

Her tweet read, “Earlier today, while reporting on the tragic news of Kobe Bryant’s passing, I unfortunately stuttered on air, combining the names of the Knicks and the Lakers to say “Nakers.” Please know I did not & would NEVER use a racist term. I apologize for the confusion this caused.”
