News of the World’s Jules Stenson Admits Phone Hacking

And yet another News of the World editor has fessed up to phone hacking.

Jules Stenson pleaded guilty to conspiring to hack this month, avoiding a trial next year.

Press Gazette noted his subordinate at the Rupert Murdoch-owned tabloid, Dan Evans, pleaded guilty earlier this year.

Stenson said he hacked betwen 2003 and 2007, the Telegraph reported.

Stenson and Neil Wallis were charged in July, as iMediaEthics previously reported.Wallis pleaded not guilty.

Last month former News of the World staffer Ian Edmondson was sentenced to eight months in jail after pleading guilty to hacking.
