Spanish Newspaper Apologizes for Photoshopping Soccer Graphic

Typically Spanish reported  that the Spanish sports newspaper AS issued an apology after Photoshopping screenshot of the soccer game between Barcelona and Athletic.

According to Typically Spanish, “The photo was in the print edition of the paper on Monday but comparison with the television coverage from Canal + it was clear a player had been erased from the picture. AS said was caused by an infographics error.”

AS’s apology was published Feb. 21.   “We apologize for an error in the 1-0 computer graphics,” the apology read (via translation from Spanish).

“By an error in computer graphics illustrating the print edition of the daily AS on Monday a possible offside Alves in the Villa goal against Athletic, not on the computer image Bilbao defender could be in line with the right side of Barcelona.  We apologize for that.”
