Alabama NBC-affiliate WSFA issued a retraction in mid-August for its Aug 12 story on an Alabama Supreme Court decision on a “gaming facility.”

The story, which reported on the court’s decision, was retracted because the vote hadn’t happened yet, according to the retraction.

WSFA explained that the error was the result of the station misreading a ” a one-page ruling regarding a land dispute”  in the same area but not related to the “gaming facility,” Greenetrack.
