OfCom, the UK broadcast regulator, is investigating Channel 4’s Jon Snow after he commented that he had “never seen so many white people in one place” at a Brexit protest. As iMediaEthics previously reported, Channel 4 apologized for Snow’s “unscripted observation” and “any offence caused by his comment.”

According to the Guardian, OfCom got 2,644 complaints about the remark. OfCom also got several complaints about politician Nigel Farage’s comment on LBC Radio that Snow “should be attacked without doubt” for the comment.

iMediaEthics has written to Channel 4.
