Seattle Fox-affiliate Q13 fired an editor after the station aired an altered video of Pres. Donald Trump’s recent Oval Office address.

As the Seattle Times explained, “The video was changed to make it look as if Trump was sticking his tongue out languidly between sentences. In addition, the colors in the video look more saturated, leading the president’s skin and hair to appear more orange.”

Q13 news director Erica Hill told the Seattle Times in a statement the video editing “does not meet our editorial standards and we regret if it is seen as portraying the president in a negative light.” She added that one editor was responsible and has been fired.

iMediaEthics has written to Q13 to ask how it learned of the editing and which editor was fired. “It is unclear whether the employee created the doctored video or just allowed it to go on air” according to the Seattle Times.

Conservative talk radio 770 KTTH reported that one of its listeners flagged the video.
