Related, The Times of London removed claims about a “former medical doctor” for a UK soccer team from an article. Nonetheless, the newspaper is being sued for the claims, but defends the claims as “proper” to include, the Press Gazette reported.

The article claimed that “Chelsea Football Club’s former medical director Dr Bryan English” was a “negligent doctor,” was part of the reason for a  “difficult relationship” at the club and problems at the club.

According to Press Gazette, English left his job with the club last year.
