The Poynter Institute and Craig Newmark’s craigconnects are holding a “Journalism Ethics Forum” Oct. 23 in New York, according to an Oct. 15 press release.

The day-long event includes speakers from Poynter, the Project for Excellence in Journalism’s director Tom Rosenstiel and others.

Poynter’s “Senior Faculty, Ethics, Reporting and Writing” Kelly McBride is quoted as saying that “Our goal is that, together, we can write new guidelines for journalism in the 21st century.”
