Reporters without Borders announced yesterday that it would launch a mirror site for WikiLeaks today.

In a statement published on its website, the not-for-profit advocacy group explained "This is a gesture of support for WikiLeaks' right to publish information without being obstructed.  We defend the free flow of information on the Internet and the protection of sources, without which investigative journalism cannot exist."

Reporters without Borders has previously issued statements in defense of WikiLeaks and Assange's stated desire for transparency and freedom of expression.
