ESPN fired host Adnan Virk after he was accused of leaking to the media. “The specific nature of the information Virk chose to share is unknown at this time.,” the New York Post reported. The Washington Post, however, reported that Virk was accused of leaking “information from a conference call about its baseball coverage to the sports blog Awful Announcing.”

Virk told USA Today “Unfortunately at this time I can’t say anything … on the advice of legal counsel.”

An ESPN spokesperson told iMediaEthics only that “Adnan Virk no longer works at ESPN.” iMediaEthics has messaged Virk over Twitter.
