The Guardian reported that former BBC political editor and current BBC Sunday morning show host Andrew Marr labeled bloggers “inadequate, pimpled and single.”

Further Marr slammed citizen journalists, saying that it’s the “spewings and rantings of very drunk people late at night…Most citizen journalism strikes me as nothing to do with journalism at all.”

While he also said that citizen journalism “is fantastic at times,” Marr doesn’t think it’s “going to replace journalism.”
