The Daily Mail apologized June 16 for its inaccurate reporting about a freelance reporter who used to work at BBC Radio 5 Live, Tabloid Watch reported.

The Daily Mail’s apology also noted that it wrongly implied the journalist, Stephanie O’Keeffe, got the job “by submitting a CV that contained her vital statistics and expressed a willingness to work nude.”

Tabloid Watch linked to a re-publishing of the Daily Mail report, which shows that the Daily Mail actually flat-out claimed in its fourth paragraph that

“But Ms O’Keeffe – whose CV includes skills as a model, lists her chest and waist measurements as 32in and 23in and even specifies that she is willing to perform nude – lasted only two shifts at radio station 5Live.”

Tabloid Watch not only highlighted the Daily Mail correction but called into question what “newsworthy” aspect the Daily Mail’s original report had, suggesting that O’Keeffe and the job just weren’t a match.
