The Guardian corrected its Aug. 9 report on Texas governor Rick Perry’s entry into the 2012 U.S. presidential race.

According to the correction, the Guardian had stated that Perry, had “married his wife Meredith” two years ago.  However, Meredith is the name of Rick Perry’s daughter-in-law, not his wife.
