Reporters for The Sunday Mirror followed Parliament member Andrew Robathan in his car for "over ten miles" to get him to comment on a study his office released.

While the UK Press Complaints Commission called the pursuit "ill-advised," it concluded that the newspaper wasn't harassing Robathan, according to a press release from the PCC.

Robathan had complained about the incident, but the PCC argued that the story was of "significant public interest," that the Mirror reporters only followed him "on a single occasion," and the reporters "left the area as soon as they were asked to do so."

However, the PCC advised that the PCC "consider new provisions in the Code to address the potential for danger and alarm posed when journalists pursue the subject of a story in a vehicle."
