Good Morning America host Lara Spencer apologized for making fun of Prince George’s ballet lessons, saying “I screwed up.”

Spencer had joked about the prince’s ballet lessons in an Aug. 22 report. She listed some of the subjects the prince will be studying, laughing at ballet and saying, “Prince William says George absolutely loves ballet. I have news for you Prince William, we’ll see how long that lasts.”

In an on-air Aug. 26 apology, Spencer said her dance comment was “insensitive, it was stupid, and I am deeply sorry.”

Good Morning America posted a video clip of her apology.
