Huffington Post’s Twitter account (@HuffingtonPost) was hacked Jan. 15, according to Mediaite.

Tweets posted by the hackers were later deleted by the Huffington Post, and were “homophobic and racist,” Mediaite explained.

The Huffington Post tweeted about the hack Jan. 15 writing “Sorry about that, Twitterverse! We know we’ve been hacked and are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.”
