The Washington Post has changed the headline of a June 14 story on the GOP presidential debate titled “Bachmann Assumes the Position,” FOX News reported.  The headline now reads: “Michele Bachmann steals the show at GOP debate.”

CNN’s John King told each candidate to “assume the position” as they walked on stage hence the headline, according to the Washington Post report.  But, the double entendre has been seen as sexist.  Bachmann was the only woman to participate in the debate.

The headline was changed online during the morning of June 14, according to a National Review Online Media Blog post.
