Arizona CBS-affiliate KOLD-TV 13 is paying a blogger $300 after "using his video without permission," Jim Romenesko reported August 14.

The blogger, Michael McKisson, told Romenesko that "the station’s news director, Michelle Germano ... said the story was produced by a new reporter. The station has a policy of not using YouTube videos and because the reporter did not cite the video as a YouTube video, the editors looking over the script missed it and didn’t take it out."

We wrote in May when the Oregon Times Observer paid blogger Duane Lester $500 after running his blogpost as one of its stories without permission.
