Attorney Meanith Huon is suing a legal blog for $50 million for suggesting that he was accused of sexually assaulting three women, when Huon was accused of sexually assaulting one woman, Forbes’ Jeff Bercovici reported.

Legal blog Above the Law, which describes itself as “a legal tabloid,” reported on charges against Huon citing three articles reporting claims of sexual assault against Huon.  But, “all three articles were about the same incident and victim,” Bercovici noted.

Huon’s lawsuit states:

“The content of the article were [sic] defamatory in that it incorrectly and recklessly portrayed Mr. Huon as a serial rapist by treating the same complaining witness as three different women.”

According to Bercovici, Huon “was acquitted of the sexual assault charges.”
