Andrew Breitbart’s lawyers have filed a motion to the U.S. District Court for dismissal of the lawsuit Shirley Sherrod filed against him for posting an edited version of her NAACP speech, POLITICO reported. Read more about the lawsuit in our earlier story here.

In response to Sherrod’s claims he published “an intentionally false and misleading clip,” Breitbart claims that the edited version he posted “captured the gist of her speech.”

According to POLITICO, if the case remains, Breitbart wants it moved to California from Washington, D.C.
